How it works

How Rotino makes your characters

Published by The Apptor, made by The Rotino Team.

Rotino is a for-fun creative toy. You type two things, say cactus and dinosaur, and Rotino invents a single original cartoon "Italian Brainrot" character that mashes them together. Here's what's actually happening, in plain English.

Two words in, one character out

The only input Rotino needs is the two things you type. It sends that pair to an AI image model, which imagines a brand-new character combining them and draws it in the app's signature googly-eyed cartoon style. Because the model generates something fresh each time, the same two words can give you different creatures on different tries, no two brainrots are ever exactly alike.

How we use AI

Every character is generated by AI. Rotino doesn't pull from a fixed library of pre-drawn images or copy a specific real artwork, it invents each one on the spot from your prompt. The results are imaginative, exaggerated and deliberately silly.

It's fiction, for laughs

Rotino's creations are made-up cartoon characters. They are not real people, real animals, real brands, or statements of fact, they're the visual equivalent of a joke. Enjoy them, share them, but don't read anything into them beyond the fun.

Keeping it appropriate

Rotino is rated 4+ and built for lighthearted, all-ages fun. We aim to keep results playful and family-friendly. If something ever comes out that doesn't feel right, let us know, we read every message and use reports to keep the experience clean.
